Look past the "Mirages" of life and focus on the PROMISES of God.

In this life there are certain things and situations that you think are one way then they end up being something completely different. A "mirage" is an optical illusion. For example, you may have thought a certain person is your best friend since you were five, and you were so sure they were, only to find out years later that they were actually never really a friend at all in the first place. That is what I call a mirage in everyday life situations. We all go through circumstances that can be like a mirage weather it be with the example I used about the "best friend growing up," or a material thing that you buy that disappointed you. So let us put the optical illusions aside and look for the genuine and real things of life the promises of God. Back to my example of friends, focus on the genuine friends, and family. The ones that God is using to build us up. Genuine means real on the contrary of an illusion. A illusion deceives your eyes as the elements look a certain way but when you take up the ruler and do the measurements it is totally different. Something or someone that is genuine when you take out the ruler and do the measurements it actually checks out. Since my example of friends is really important topic, and it can coincide with a possible "mirage" situation. Let us see what the Bible says about this topic as it is the ruler to measure (The Bible is used to "measure" anything). By the way God bless genuine friends and family!
