“To abstain the wrong is to pray, worship, and meditate on The Holy Word of God.” - G.S.Notes

Psalm 119:11-16,18-27,30-34,37-38,41,43-47 KJV

[11] Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. [12] Blessed art thou, O Lord : teach me thy statutes. [13] With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. [14] I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. [15] I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. [16] I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. [18] Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. [19] I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

[20]

My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times. [21] Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

[22] Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

[23] Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes. [24] Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors. [25] My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word. [26] I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes. [27] Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works. [30] I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me. [31] I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O Lord, put me not to shame. [32] I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart. [33] Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. [34] Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. [37] Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way. [38] Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear. [41] Let thy mercies come also unto me, O Lord, even thy salvation, according to thy word. [43] And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

[44] So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

[45] And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts. [46] I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed. [47] And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

1 Peter 3:10-22 KJV

[10] For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: [11] Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. [12] For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. [13] And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? [14] But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye : and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; [15] But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: [16] Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

[17] For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. [18] For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: [19] By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; [20] Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. [21] The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: [22] Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
