How Do We Survive And Thrive In A World Full Of (Hatred)? How Do We Think About Survive and Thrive I
Titus 3 (KJV)
1 Put them in mind (meaning think about) to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
12 When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.
13 Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.
14 And let our's also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
15 All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
How Do We Survive In A World Full of Hatred? – This has been a challenge for me and I’m sure It’s a challenge for you as well because as the Psalmist David Says constantly “Thou Mine Enemies...BUT Almighty God!” It wasn't easy for all the men and woman of faith either but they made it! We should take the example from ALL DOERS of FAITH and TRUST history, and the BIBLE to PRAY and TRUST IN GOD.throughout
So many people hate, and want us, especially I find us, the youth, to fail and miss out in life. It really is sad that some are like this to us, however God! David in the Bible was a young shepherd boy whom no one thought highly of in his earthly circle except God! Yet David a man after God’s own heart was one of the most successful people in the history of the world! The Messiah came through King David's Line! The key is praying and having faith! Do not cave in to the giants of life and the chaos therein the world. David took on Goliath of Gath against all the odds defeated him. God is a God that we can rely on despite the hating people like Goliath.
David was also able to compete with the other armies using sophisticated armor and weapons in that day to compete. He did not cave in, instead rather, he would take refuge in the cave, and used the cave as an asset to conquer the devil's plot by worshiping Jesus.throught.stayed.in.FAITH and WON.
1 Samuel 17:45-50 (KJV)
45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
46 This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands.
48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came, and drew nigh to meet David, that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.
49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
