Why is Israel and Judah important to Jesus?

Israel and Judah is important to God because He came through the Israeli — Judah line and therefore the whole earth was saved through that line. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is also the God and king of the gentiles. As a matter of fact God used the gentiles of the world as well in scripture to help, for example, King David's grandma Ruth was a Moabite. Genesis 49:8-12 (KJV):

8Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee.
