Romans 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. In this life a whole bunch of things comes at us whether it be a work situation, personal, or everyday jargon. Things come at us. It is important to renew our minds daily and captivate our thoughts (see blog before this one). Renewing our minds is basically a recalibration of our thinking, mood, and outlook of life. Then we have to discern what is the will of God, and see what His plan is for our lives. We also should not conform to this world's thinking or ways. The ways of this world reap destruction. When we seek the ways of God, and rejoice in Him, that is what reaps the benifits. Keep on praying, keep believing, and trusting our Lord Jesus! - G.S Matthew 7:13 (KJV) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 1 John 2:17 (KJV) And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Psalm 37:4 (KJV) Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Philippians 4:7 (KJV) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

  • Take Charge of Our Thoughts: We need to make sure that the thoughts are in line with Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; We need to make sure that the thoughts are in line with, and obedient to Christ. If the thought is NOT obeying what is alined with the Word of God, and your spirit being, then it is false and should be discarded immediately. The devils battle ground is in our minds. In other words, if one gets tricked buy a false thought and that thought takes root, they can miss their destiny. What we think about, or even a quick thought that comes when you are trying to meditate, pray, and relax that can be false. How would you know if the thought is false, you may ask? If that thought is contrary to the Word of God (the Bible) than it is false. We need to put a filter on our thoughts and take it very seriously what we think about. Remember, not every thought we think comes from us it could come from really anything. For Example, you can hear somthing on the news and a thought can just generate. It is not just you, it is the brain, and other factors that generate thoughts as well. There has been scientific studies to show that the brain generates thoughts on its own. That being said we should not feel guilty when a bad thought comes, rather discard it immediately knowing it was a factor not us per-say, However, if we let a thought take root, then it could become an action. For example, one could think, "I have to do the laundry" then they take root to that thought and do the laundry. I hope this brief paragraph and verses has encouraged you. The Bible tells us to guard our minds the most! Gard our minds! God Bless! - G.S Proverbs 4:23 (KJV) Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Romans 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

  • We can take comfort in the fact that Jesus does NOT change: People can be funny they can be one way

People can be funny they can be one way on Tuesday, and on another on Thursday depending on their mood, God is not like that, He is a patient and loving God. Our God never changes and is the same God that He was 2000 years ago, 7000 years ago, 12000 years ago to infinity past and beyond (infinity) the same God. That is a relief, right? Thank God for His everlasting mercies and grace. We all NEED Jesus in everything in our lives. Therefore there is no need to worry about anything God is in control. It can be hard to walk by faith but it is necessary and is the Christians currency on this earth sort of speak. We need to look past the distortions, lies, and fakery on this earth. No one here on earth is perfect but God our Lord Jesus. So what's the point of letting things get to us? God is the vindicator. He is the just God; nothing passes Him. Let us focus in on the HOPE of Jesus, and HIS PROMISES instead of the worries and riches of this world. Let us focus in on the things that really matter in life. - G.S Bible Verses to Share: Romans 15:13 (KJV) Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. • The Real Church: If you are a real Christian you are a follower of Jesus.

As I had mentioned in my last blog the church is the body of believers/children of Christ. Christianity is not just a religion but the real body of people that follows Jesus. If you are a real Christian you are a follower of Jesus. Christianity is not a religious ritual or just religion, It is more than that, it's a personal one on one relationship with Jesus our Lord and the Holy Spirit. The God head is God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit three in One. God needs us and want us to be apart of His Kingdom the Kingdom of Heaven. Too often we as people loose focus on the things that matter. For example, we get hung up over what a certain person said, or we look at a Christian and think they are just trying to be perfect. We should not get hung up over what someone said in church or think that Christians are just trying to be perfect. It is much more than that! We as people all need the SAVIOR Jesus who died on the cross for all of us. When we accept Him as Lord and Savior we then get the Holy Spirit to guid us and are a new creation. When we walk in the SPIRIT then we will NOT fulfill the lusts of the flesh. When we are LEAD by the SPIRIT of God we will make the right decisions. So may I ask, "Why all the judgment from certain christians and non christians?" I believe it comes from either misunderstanding or just plain loose misjudgment. So let us not misunderstand but understand. Let us love one another realizing that this earth is temporary the way it is now and Christ is coming back eventually. - G.S Bible Verses to Share: 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. • The Bible Tells Us The Church To AVOID Division

1 Corinthians 1:10-13 (KJV) 10Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 12Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? Romans 16:17-18 (KJV) 17Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. Luke 11:17 (KJV) But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth. Mark 3:24-26 (KJV) 24And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. Jude 1:16-19 (KJV) 16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. 17But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. Titus 3:9-11 (KJV) 9But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. 10A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; 11Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself. Colossians 3:12-15 (KJV) 12Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Mark 16:15 (KJV) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Matthew 28:19 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Acts 1:2 (KJV) Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: Acts 1:8 (KJV) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. • Some people have wondered: what exactly "ministry" is — about.

You may have asked or wondered what exactly ministry is or what "ministry" is in general. Ministry is "to service/serve others for Christ" or "to encourage others in Christ." For example, missionaries go to other countries or places to do a particular SERVICE for Christ. Probably you have already figured out that this particular ministry (service or to serve) is about sharing encouraging things (information) and messages about Christ as well as sharing about the things of the Bible. It is a good question though if you wondered what this ministry is about or others are about. Ministry is a service to our Lord Jesus in love and to share the gospel (good news) of Christ. "So I am serving the encouragement of Christ sort of speak." It can get confusing with so many different approaches to ministry. We that are "Christians" and "children of God" are all called to some sort of ministry (service) or calling for Christ. - G.S After all the golden rule in the Bible is: Matthew 7:12 (KJV) - Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. (For some its called to be a roll model in whatever relationship your role is. Others are called to be teachers and encourage their students in the ways of Christ. You don't have to be a pastor or preaching on a pulpit to be called to ministry. It is very important as a Christian to know what your God given calling is in life.) Bible Verses to share: Galatians 5:13 (KJV) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Acts 6:4 (KJV) But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. 1 Timothy 4:12 (KJV) Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Colossians 3:16 (KJV) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. A little bit about myself: I have a background in business as I have helped and help my family business. I have a great understanding about business, the business world and how it works. I know as we'll God has put a business calling to aid in ministry and help others. After all having a business sense defiantly helps in what ever you do. To God be the glory in everything He has done in my life! Praise the Lord Jesus! Psalm 145: 1-2 (KJV) I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Here is some of what I said on my last blog post: As for the few months this blog has been open I feel that it has had a great start. A little bit of my background: I always felt God has a calling on my life since I was in first grade for ministry. In first grade I used to encourage my class mates in Christ, all the way up till now. I would hold Bible studies, encourage class mates that wanted to accept Christ as Savior, and hand out encouraging messages that I would write like this blog. I also would help encourage younger guys like me that were a few years younger than me by giving them the hope of Jesus. I believe many accepted Christ as Savior praise God! My goal is to continue to develop this blog ~ ministry and to do more as the Lord Jesus leads. The goal also is also to expand: videos, log in material, and eventually music. I hope you feel encouraged so far by the blog ~ ministry posts. If you are a Christian and have discovered this blog please keep it in prayer as it strives to encourage and bring hope to all that need it. God Bless and in prayer! ~George Saghbini

  • Update: My view on social media; first few months of using this blog.

I believe in general social media is a good tool. After all social media can play a roll in uniting us together. I however, prefer, not to use the popular social media sites as my personal preference for blogging and ministry at least for now. Social media is an excellent tool and used wisely can reap great benefits. The goal is to encourage one another in Christ and build one another up. This website blog works better for me personally, and is more suitable for encouraging us in Christ. Using a website I found is more beneficial to all viewing especially for ministry purposes. My goal is encouragement in Christ, and giving the hope of Jesus. As for the few months this blog has been open I feel that it has had a great start.
