Those who labor in love should be compensated with that compassion that provide value in return and Christ tells us that He will not let the labor of love go in vain.

The love of God “agape” the ultimate love takes sacrifice as Christ laid down His life for His people So all truth that proper love comes from is based out of sacrifice so it doesn’t always “feel” “good” So then all the other “love types” SHOULD stem from sacrifice as in “charity” hence “love.”
