One has to look at things as a system of function and as all parts equal a whole. Jesus and in His Word talks about members and how the church are all members of one another and how Jesus when He went to the cross and rose again, now members of His body, and He views the members of His body as Him being the Groom and it (the body of His Elect) His Bride.
