The love of God “agape” the ultimate love takes sacrifice as Christ laid down His life for His people So all truth that proper love comes from is based out of sacrifice so it doesn’t always “feel” “good” So then all the other “love types” SHOULD stem from sacrifice as in “charity” hence “love.” As in sacrifice what one wants to hear to what someone needs to hear!
