This humor is based on the figurative expression (Have you heard the expression “I am going to sleep 'on it' and then …”) Here is the figurative person “I” (humor post): When a person woke up in the morning, did some work, and then realized what they were doing didn’t make sense what did they do? They went back to sleep that early morning and hoped after they woke up it would make sense. “Have you ever tried to do something and it didn’t make sense right after you wake up?” What they were doing didn’t make sense, so what did they do? They kept asking “why!” “Why just figure it out!” Again it happened: (When a person humor)-I woke up in the morning, did some work, and then realized what they were doing didn’t make sense what did they do? They went back to sleep at night and hoped after they woke up in the morning it would make sense. (Have you heard the expression “I am going to sleep 'on it' and then …”) The question is sleep on what? Sometimes it’s better to sleep at rest rather than to sleep on it with stress, or sleep without a sleep. I would prefer to sleep on a comfortable soft mattress than to just sleep on it!
