A disturbance (spiritual) is a thing that try’s to instill a bad memory (most of the time fabricated by the disturbance.) or thing that causes a malfunction. It has everything to do with mentality. A disturbance(s) tries to sift a thing in its process as in the way it operates or thinks. Vigilance and a plan of proper action to avoid and stop disturbances is necessary by way of a plan. Ideally a step by step plan to get out of a disturbance or attempted disturbance is necessary. Say a person in a business deal makes an unkind remark or word; then tries to blame shift. That is an example of a disturbance(s) that tries to hinder growth.
